Warner Bros.' hit came smashing through a box office wall just last weekend, but already it's got a golden hunk of hardware to hang in the great tower: Top prize at the Golden Trailer Awards.

"What She Is" was our first long look at Themyscira, which also quietly gave us a much clearer idea of where this origin story was taking us, including peeks at Doctor Poison, some nifty lasso-work, and other action we'd not seen before.
Created jointly by Warner Bros., Open Road Entertainment and AV Squad, "What She Is" also won for Best Fantasy/ Adventure, one of 17 awards handed out at the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills in front of about 1,000 industry folks.
It was also nominated for Best Blockbuster Trailer, but lost that fight to fellow female butt-kick flick Atomic Blonde, from Universal/Focus and AV Squad.
Gal Gadot and Patty Jenkins were the vanguard of the victory charge for Warner Bros. which (with sister companies HBO and New Line) led all studios with 26 wins. Fox properties (20th Century, Searchlight, FX and FXX) took 15; Disney and Netflix each had seven; and six each went to Universal, Sony and Lionsgate.
